Musée du Louvre

Greetings from Paris!

I've already been in the city of love and fashion for 1 week and still there's so much to see.
Well, love is still not in sight but being in Paris increases my love for fashion. I went to the Michael Kors store and Galerie Lafayette which contains Dior, Prada, The Kooples, Guess, Ralph Lauren, Burberry and so much more. I got to know about the Bobo Style and other amazing brands. The clothing was more than amazing that I even forgot to take some pictures - spare me >_< .

Today I will introduce you the Musée du Louvre where you also find the painting of Mona Lisa. Unfortunately it was so big that I couldn't see everything and sorry for the bad quality - everything was taken with my iPhone 4s.

Metamorphosis

Hey guys! I'm so excited to finally show you my two dresses I designed for the fashion show at school that is held once a year! This year's big topic is "Metamorphosis" which is another word for transformation. Weeks before the show, students build up groups with a "picture" about this topic.

Thankfully I was able to work with a bunch of students who are really talented and hard working and also endured listening to me :P Even though we where pushed for time (had to organize and sew everything in just 2 weeks) but at the end it was super fun and also a good experience.
As you can see on the first picture our designs were inspirated by gods/goddess.

Here we go with a special outfit that I made by myself and I'm so excited to show you that ! As you might know I'm currently attending a fashion design school and we started to learn how to sew a skirt a while ago. I was able to buy a nice golden fabric from our school and I honestly just love the result.

As for the belt I used imitation leather (and other stuff). It's specially made for our fashion show on 14th July but there's still something missing which will only be revealed after the event ;).

The only part I didn't do by myself was the cute white blouse that was sewed by my aunt a couple of years ago.

If you want to see the outfit I designed for the fashion show, keep following my blog ;)

My friend and I went to Luxembourg for our shooting and besides working on the blog we enjoyed our day by shopping and having lunch at the Auchan Mall.

Holla ! so This will be a short post about yesterday's fashion show held by young students at college for fashion design in Trier

Each student who will receive their Bachelor's or Master's degree this year showed a short collection which consist of about 5 different outfits. Not only their thesis were shown but also a collection of their previous projects.  They'd done a great job - from designing and sewing to organising the whole event.

Big thanks to everyone who worked for today's show, thanks for Lacoste that gave us those cute gifts and of course to all the sponsors who made this evening possible.

It was my first time beeing on a fashion show and I must say that I enjoyed it, especially because of the perfect seat in the front row that i got ;)

Today I want to show you amazing stuff I found by looking through my favourite brands:

Let's start with the dress which I've seriously fallen in LOVE with ! It's from the latest collection of blessedarethemeek.com.au. I love everything about it - the pattern, the side cuts and also the nice lower cut, simply amazing. Actually this dress gave me the idea to find some accessories and clothes to combine.

The next would be the black leather biker jacket from Topshop. Biker jackets are a must have in your closet. You can combine it with mostly everything. People tend to think that biker jackets just go with jeans and shirts but as you can see, you can wear it to heels and a dress as well.

Talking about the heels: They are from my favourite store in town: Zara. And I must say I'm so glad to have a Zara store in this small city. It is really hard to order online because you can't feel the material and try it on to see if it fits you or if it's comfortable.

Next one is the golden cuff I found on anarchystreet.com which i suggest to everyone, especially when you want to find accessories. Visit the site, you'll love it ;)

Last but not least the black bag in crocodile-style by Givenchy that completes the look. It looks quite simple but also cool and elegant at the same time - edgy :D

So What do you think?

Black and White : Part I

First of all I'm so sorry that I couldn't upload any posts for the past  2-3 weeks but I'll work harder to keep you up to date!

Back to the reason why I'm here:

I loved this dress from the moment I saw that at the H&M store so I just bought one without hesitation and trying on.
It has two splits at the front side of the lower part which is pretty cool - especially on hot days, so your lower body can get some fresh air ;P. But the best thing about this dress is that you can even wear it on normal days like going shopping or just having ice cream. When me and my friend walked to the location for our Black and White shooting I only wore this dress with my favourite sandals from Deichmann and it was so comfy ! What do you prefer, heels or sandals for this dress? Leave a comment below ;)

nearly forgot to mention the leather neckband

Again a cold shooting day! It's kind of a wonder that i didn't get a cold after those shootings!

Today's dress is from Orsay. I love the floral pattern on this dress. Can you see that the flowers are red while the leaves are black? Also the dress has deep cuts on the back side and at the front side that makes the wearer looks sexy and elegant at the same time.

I really love this picture. And yes, I'm dreaming about the beach, sun and hot guys ;)

I got those heels from Vietnam last summer but i forgot the name of the shop :(
